If you have done the quest before, nothing above really works as expected although you can repeat the align portion of it. You can't hunt slender+chaplain. His name is Giorgio though so you can use that to hunt the right chaplain. Rodriguez says you've done all you can for him, and Giorgio says Rodriguez who as if he doesn't know what you are talking about. But if you then give him the 5k gold, he says Rodriguez has been sinning again and sets your align to 1000.
