Ys entrance rights

Visit Gilles in the portion of Ys that's above ground.
Ask Gilles items. He will ask you to bring him three items:

• a thick steak
  • purchased from The Royal Stag or The Salutation Inn
• a crucifix
  • go to the Priester in Kleinstadt and ask Priester cross. Then worship when he asks you to.
  • or obtain a crucifix from the Jesuit priest.
• a painting of Ys
  • Go to the mayor of Ys and ask mayor painting.
  • Note: you can bring the mayor a twisted gold ring instead of 20,000 coins.

Bring the items back to Gilles and hand them to him one at a time.
Once he's happy with you ask Gilles secret. He will tell you how to access Ys.

In order to enter Ys without being slain, you will need protection from either the druid or the saint in the above-ground section of Ys. Simply ask druid help or ask saint help and they will ask you for your help. Agree to their offer and they will mark you with protection.

There is a mound E 2S E 3S from Gilles. Push mound to enter the tunnel, and then move N D to enter Ys.
