In 1860, Louisiana has grown, in less than fifty years, from the new state joining the nation to one of the wealthiest. New Orleans, is the third largest city in the United States, a bustling port of commerce trading for cotton and sugar, and a melting pot of cultures, influenced by the French Creole original settlers, Acadians immigrants from Canada and immigration from old Europe.
North of New Orleans, the rest of the state develops along the Mississippi river where large plantations farm the goods they will sell downstream in the city. Slavery is rampant and the fate of the slave workers is growing to be a national concern that will eventually propel the nation into civil war.

Try to complete the main quests around Voodoo New Orleans, the Underground Railroad or maybe help the ornithologist Audubon explore Louisiana's rich fauna.
