Atop the Ipac Tlamanacali
Here the priests conduct the great ritualistic sacrifices for the festival
ceremonies. The flat summit here measures seventy paces to a side. As you look
out over the sleeping city, you can make out the shapes of buildings but not
very much detail. You can hear more than see the gentle waters of Lake Texcoco
lapping at the outer most edges of the city. The steps lead down, past the
ceremonial altar to the skull rack where the skulls grin like jack o'lanterns
in the torchlight. The temple of Tlaloc is situated on the north edge while the
temple of Huitzilopochtli sits on the southern edge.
The head priest of Huitzilopochtli loudly yells, 'We have need of a sacrifice
to please the god, Huitzilopochtli!'
The head priest of Huitzilopochtli leaves down.
You follow the head priest of Huitzilopochtli.

The head priest of Huitzilopochtli looks about for an appropriate xochimique.
If you have been chosen to dance you are not selected. But this is a random act that the head priest has to be on top of the temple and then he walks to the bottom and looks for a victim. I've never gotten selected, but that's because I've been chosen to dance and never done that quest either.
